Welcome to Charcha!
2025 marks my tenth year working in the intersection of disability rights and sports. When I first stepped into India’s disability rights movement back in 2015, two remarkable people—Sai Padma and Vaidy—became my virtual mentors. They constantly reminded me:
‘You need to speak more. You need to write more. The world needs to hear these stories.’
For a long time, I didn’t listen. Imposter syndrome, academic struggles, and simply trying to survive kept me quiet. But when Sai Padma passed away last year, it hit me deeply. I realized it was time—not just to share my own journey, but to amplify the voices of those who have carried me forward.
This podcast is for them, and for you. It’s about ordinary people doing extraordinary acts of humanity every single day. Charcha is my way of sowing seeds—conversations that future generations can draw strength from, stories that inspire us to get our hands dirty in service, and reflections that remind us of the power of community in a world that feels like it’s breaking apart.
Join me in Charcha with My Enablers—because the best legacy we can build is the one we create together.”
